Cartoon Network for the longest time has been a channel for young and old, with shows that both age groups can enjoy. For that reason, Adult Swim is very popular and is for even more mature audiences. The problem is that many newer shows on CN are catered toward young children than ever now, with shows like Teen Titans Go! dominating the scheduling block daily. Normally, this would not be a problem, as shows like Regular Show and Adventure Time fulfilled the teenage viewers, but both shows have finished their runs. This means that most of the timeblocks are filled with shows for younger audiences, with very few shows left for an older audience. While most of the audience of CN are children, many of the viewers are people who grew up watching Cartoon Network, and it hurts those who really enjoy the network for it to go the way it has. The only thing we can do is petition CN to listen to us and hope for the best for the future.
